11-3-16 South Branch Raritan

Ron S. and I headed in to Point mountain this morning, chasing the fall stocked Bows. The gauge was reading 108 cfs at 8:00 am, by the time we got half way up the stretch the water was turning brown and raising. Twenty minuets later the river was blown out,  Time to change up the plan, back to the truck, back over the mountain and into the Gorge. Wasn't long and Ron was into a few nice fish. Columbus Day Weekend Salmon Fishing

Mark Bourdon and I fished the Salmon River over Columbus weekend. The weather was good, water conditions were a bit on the low side but the Water Temps were perfect. The first day and a half we found fish in the middle portion of the river. We jumped back and forth between Pineville and the Staircase the remainder of our trip with great success! 9-23 to 9-24-16 Salmon River Trip

I took a ride up to the Salmon River with Zach and his Buddies, the fishing report was saying get here now! So we loaded up the Truck and took off! Friday Morning we hit the water at 0 dark 30, the reports were spot on. The fish were on the move and we were in a hot spot. We all Hooked up multiple time in the first hour. 9-18-16 PA Limestoners

Pam M. and I fished the Bushkill this Morning, she couldn't wait to try out her new Anniversary gift from her Husband. Not your average Anniversary gift I might add, it happened to be an Orvis, 10' 4# Fly Rod, and she was Tickled Pink to own it! Conditions were on the slim side, but Pam put the new Rod to the test. 9-17-16 Little Lehigh

Joe P. and I headed out to the Little Lehigh today. We caught quite a few fish throughout the Day. The highlights of the trip were helping a few younger boys catch there first trout on the fly rod. 9-10-16 East Branch Delaware

Joey S. and I headed up to the East Branch, spent the day exploring access points. We fished a few back stretches a mile or so down stream of Downsville. Corbett Bridge area fished well, we landed 14 fish and we each  lost a Picture Fish in that area. Beautiful day, air temp held around 80* all day. Water Temps were in the high 50's and Gin clear. Caddis and Grifffith's Gnats Took fish most of the Day.Read more

9-10-16 Little Lehigh

This weekend I had the Pleasure of Guiding Two amazing outdoors women from Central Jersey. These two Ladies have been friends their entire lives. They grew up in PA and tell me that they started fishing together when they were very young. Lately they have been surf fishing, and based on some of the photos they showed me they've got that dialed in as well. Catskills Trip 8/27-8/29/16

Headed up to the Upper Delaware Friday night with Joey S and Little Man Andrew D and his Dad. We hooked several fish at Hale Eddy Bridge Friday evening. Andrew picked up a solid Brown Trout on one of his favorite Streamers. Joey and I were able to dig up a bunch of fish on Nymphs and Midges. Catskills Trip 8-19 to 8-21-16

Joey S and I headed back up to the Catskills this weekend. We fished the West Branch on Friday afternoon. The fishing was steady we fooled a dozen fish before dark.  Got up early Saturday morning and fished the Beaver kill. The water was 64* and 285 CFS, Perfect! We landed between 15 and 20 fish, the largest was 14". Most of the fish were 8" to 11" with a good mix of wild Brown and Bows.
