Joe S. and I headed out to Michigan for a weekend of Trout and Salmon fishing. We fished the Pere Marquette river near Baldwin MI. , a side note, The Baldwin river was the first American river to stocked with German brown Trout, around 1884. After seeing the river, I would bet it hasn’t changed much since then. (Very Pristine)
We fished a piece of the no Kill stretch, just below Baldwin this afternoon, and did very well with the resident Browns. We saw a few Salmon redd’s
that looked like they had been work over pretty recently, but no sightings of any Salmon.
